President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has extended his warm Christmas greetings to all Nigerians, urging reflection on the significance of Jesus Christ’s birth and his message of peace, hope, and goodwill.

In his 2025 Christmas Goodwill Message, the President highlighted the importance of celebrating Christ’s love while promoting unity, tolerance, and religious freedom across the nation. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve as Nigeria’s leader and called for peace, particularly among individuals of differing religious beliefs.

President Tinubu reaffirmed his commitment to safeguarding the security, unity, and stability of Nigeria, emphasising that all citizens have the right to live, worship, and pursue their aspirations in safety and dignity. He noted that no one, regardless of ethnicity or faith, should suffer for practising their beliefs.

The President also recognised the contributions of Christians in Nigeria, highlighting their efforts to support the vulnerable and promote harmony in their communities. He called on citizens to exercise patience and discipline, especially during holiday travel.

“With confidence in divine providence and our collective strength, we will continue the work of building a greater Nigeria—one that future generations will be proud of,” President Tinubu said.

He wished all Nigerians a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in advance.
