In a message celebrating the milestone, President Tinubu described Chief Fasuyi as a distinguished management consultant whose professional excellence and leadership have contributed immensely to national and community development.
The President highlighted the celebrant’s remarkable service to various multilateral and bilateral institutions, including the World Bank, the African Development Bank, and other government agencies.
He also lauded Chief Fasuyi’s visionary role in transforming Ijesaland through the Ijesa Community Development Assembly (ICDA) and the Ijesa Development Fund (IDF), both of which have significantly advanced the socioeconomic and infrastructural growth of the region.
According to President Tinubu, “This milestone is not just a celebration of years lived, but of impact made, legacies established, and a life wholly dedicated to the service of God, community, and country. At 70, you stand not only as the Asiwaju of Ijesaland but also as a great achiever whose ideas, vision, and accomplishments align with our national quest for progress.”
The President further stated that Chief Fasuyi’s exemplary life reflects the enduring truth that one person, driven by vision, faith, and courage, can positively transform the destiny of a people.
“As your President, I salute you. Nigeria and Ijesaland are proud of you. Posterity will forever remember your name among the rare breed of men who lived not for themselves, but for the upliftment of others,” President Tinubu said.
He prayed that God grants Chief Fasuyi continued good health, wisdom, and renewed strength in the years ahead.
