In line with his administration’s commitment to reducing poverty and cushioning the effects of economic reforms, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has launched the disbursement of N1.2 billion under the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) programme in Ondo State.

The initiative, which targets thousands of poor and vulnerable households, is part of the Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at improving social welfare and providing immediate financial relief to the most affected Nigerians. Each beneficiary is set to receive cash support aimed at enhancing household consumption, encouraging school attendance, and improving access to healthcare.

Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, officials reaffirmed that this intervention is one of many strategic efforts by President Tinubu’s administration to uplift the poorest segments of the population and ensure inclusive economic recovery.

The CCT programme remains a key pillar in the president’s broader social protection strategy, demonstrating his resolve to build a more compassionate and equitable society.
