President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

In a congratulatory message, the President described Senator Tambuwal as a prominent politician and lawyer who has made notable contributions to the development of Sokoto State and Nigeria at large. Tambuwal currently represents Sokoto South Senatorial District in the National Assembly.

President Tinubu commended the Senator’s years of public service, noting his tenure as Speaker of the House of Representatives from 2011 to 2015, as well as his two terms as Governor of Sokoto State between 2015 and 2023.

The President further acknowledged Senator Tambuwal’s dedication to nation-building and his commitment to the advancement of democracy in Nigeria.

President Tinubu wished him good health, many more years, and continued success in his political endeavours.
