President Tinubu Hails Senator Ned Nwoko on 65th Birthday

President Bola Tinubu has celebrated the 65th birthday of Senator Ned Munir Nwoko, praising his enduring commitment to public service and national development.

Senator Nwoko, a seasoned politician, lawyer and businessman, represents Delta North in the Senate. He began his political journey in the House of Representatives from 1999 to 2003, representing the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, where he made notable strides in education, infrastructure and economic empowerment.

In his tribute, President Tinubu highlighted Senator Nwoko’s unwavering dedication to transformative causes, including malaria eradication, youth empowerment and environmental sustainability. He also recognised the Senator’s legislative achievements, citing his sponsorship of pivotal bills such as the National Malaria Eradication and Prevention Bill, the Climate Change and Renewable Energy Development Bill, the Universal Basic Education Reform Bill, and the Youth Entrepreneurship and Empowerment Bill.

Joining the family, friends and members of the National Assembly in the celebrations, President Tinubu wished Senator Nwoko continued health, strength and success as he continues to serve the people of Delta North and the nation at large.
