President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Idris Olorunnimbe as Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC). Dr. Aminu Waida will continue to serve as the Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

The President also approved the appointment of new board members of the NCC. They include Abraham Oshidami as Executive Commissioner, Technical Services; Rimini Makama as Executive Commissioner, Stakeholder Management; and Hajia Maryam Bayi, former Director of Human Capital and Administration.

Other members are Col. Abdulwahab Lawal (Rtd), Senator Lekan Mustafa, Chris Okorie, Princess Oforitsenere Emiko, and the Secretary of the Board.
