President Tinubu Meets with Finance and Economic Team Ahead of Major Tax Reforms

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has convened a high-level meeting with key figures in Nigeria’s financial and economic management team as the Federal Government prepares for upcoming tax reform measures.

The strategic session, held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, is aimed at aligning fiscal priorities and strengthening the framework for a more efficient and transparent revenue system.

Those in attendance include the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun; Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Atiku Bagudu; Minister of State for Petroleum (Gas), Ekperikpe Ekpo; Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Yemi Cardoso; and the Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, Zacch Adede.

The meeting signals a renewed push by the Tinubu administration to improve Nigeria’s tax system, ensure economic stability, and drive sustainable national growth.
