President Tinubu Mourns Passing of Chief (Mrs) Esther Arthur-Worrey

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has mourned the passing of Chief (Mrs) Esther Olufunke Arthur-Worrey, mother of Mr Fola Arthur-Worrey, former Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice of Lagos State. The late matriarch passed away on October 29 at the age of 98.

In a statement, President Tinubu described Chief (Mrs) Arthur-Worrey as a woman of grace, fortitude, and faith who dedicated her life to family and community service. He noted that she lived an exemplary life anchored on strong moral values, compassion, and a deep commitment to the welfare of others.

The President commended the late Chief (Mrs) Arthur-Worrey for raising a family of accomplished individuals devoted to service and the public good. He said her legacy of kindness, discipline, and godliness would continue to inspire generations.

President Tinubu extended his heartfelt condolences to Mr Fola Arthur-Worrey and the entire Arthur-Worrey family, urging them to find comfort in Mama’s life of purpose and impact. He prayed that God Almighty grant her eternal rest and give the family the strength to bear the loss
