President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has described Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State as a “true representation of a progressive, both in ideal and action,” in a birthday tribute released on December 11, 2025.

In the statement, President Tinubu lauded Governor Uzodimma as “an ambassador of Renewed Hope, a beacon of unity and a force for positive change,” noting his commitment to fostering national unity and bridging divides. He highlighted the governor’s leadership style as “expansive and corrective, accommodating and decisive,” and commended his role as chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum for his ability to inspire loyalty and teamwork.

President Tinubu also reflected on Governor Uzodimma’s achievements, including his tenure as Senator representing Imo West in 2011 and his governance of Imo State since 2020, emphasizing progress in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and security. He described the governor as affable, dependable, and a brilliant problem solver, wishing him good health and continued service to Nigeria and humanity on his birthday.
