President Tinubu Prioritizes Technology and Food Security, Adopts Brazil as Development Model

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to driving rapid national development through technology and food security, noting that Brazil’s success in both sectors offers a valuable model for Nigeria. Speaking during his state visit to Brazil, the President emphasized that Nigeria must harness innovation and agricultural reforms to build a resilient economy and improve citizens’ welfare.

Tinubu explained that technology will play a central role in modernizing key sectors such as education, healthcare, and governance, while also boosting efficiency in agricultural production. He stressed that food security remains a top priority for his government, as it directly impacts poverty reduction, job creation, and national stability.

Citing Brazil’s achievements in transforming its agricultural landscape and integrating technology into economic growth, President Tinubu expressed confidence that Nigeria can replicate and adapt similar strategies to suit its local realities.
