President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has showcased Nigeria’s economic strength at the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF2025), presenting the country as a hub of industrial power and entrepreneurial innovation. The Nigerian delegation highlighted both established corporations such as Dangote, Oando, TGI and BUA Foods, alongside vibrant small and medium-sized enterprises, women-led businesses and startups.

The strong participation was coordinated by the Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment, led by Minister Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, working in partnership with key government agencies and financial institutions. These include the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM), Bank of Industry (BOI) and the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) Network. Their collective efforts ensured a strong and unified national presence at the trade fair.

President Tinubu’s strategy at IATF2025 reflects his commitment to leveraging the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) to boost exports, attract investment and create opportunities for Nigerian enterprises. The emphasis on SMEs and women-led ventures further underscores his vision for inclusive growth and regional cooperation.
