President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja on Wednesday for Johannesburg to participate in the 20th G20 Leaders’ Summit, following an invitation from South African President Cyril Ramaphosa. The summit, holding from November 22–23, brings together major global economies under the theme “Solidarity, Equality, Sustainability” and will focus on inclusive growth, climate change, disaster risk reduction, just energy transitions, critical minerals, and artificial intelligence. President Tinubu is also expected to hold several bilateral meetings to advance Nigeria’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

After the G20 Summit, President Tinubu will travel to Luanda for the 7th AU–EU Summit from November 24–25, where African and European leaders, alongside innovators and civil society organisations, will address shared challenges such as climate change, digital transformation, infrastructure, the creative industry, and agribusiness.

The President will be accompanied by key government officials, including the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Finance, Solid Minerals, and Trade & Investment, as well as the Director General of the National Intelligence Agency. He will return to Nigeria at the conclusion of both high-level meetings.
