A special session of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) will be held on Thursday, 17 July at 5:00pm in honour of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.

The session, which will be presided over by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is expected to feature tributes and reflections on the legacy of the departed leader. Ministers and other members of the Council will join the President in paying their respects to a man whose impact on Nigeria’s political and socio-economic landscape remains significant.

The special FEC session is part of the series of official events lined up to honour the memory and contributions of the former President, who passed away earlier this week.
