All Progressives Congress (APC) National Youth Leader, Dr. Dayo Israel, has unveiled the “Progressive Youth Resource Centre” in Wuse 2, Abuja, as a major hub to mobilise youth support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid. He noted that the multifunctional facility, built during his first tenure, is designed to redefine youth engagement within the party and across Nigeria’s political landscape.
“The facility will house the party’s official youth mobilisation for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027,” Dr. Israel stated. The centre features modern amenities including a games room, training and meeting spaces, a lounge, boardroom, and a multimedia suite/podcast studio. It also accommodates offices for various youth-focused units such as the Jagaban Army Movement, Progressive Young Farmers Unit, Female Youth Enrichment Unit, and others.
Dr. Israel emphasized that the initiative aligns with President Tinubu’s vision of youth empowerment, describing him as a pan-African youth champion who has consistently given opportunities to young Nigerians. Drawing from international best practices observed during visits to India, China, Morocco, Ghana, and the UK, he said the centre represents a five-year strategic plan to mobilise the APC’s 200,000+ elected youth structure nationwide in support of the president and his policies.
