The Coalition of Civil Society Networks has commended the Nigerian Customs Service for its improved revenue generation, aligning with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

In a statement signed by its Coordinator, Abdullahi Ibrahim, over the weekend, the group praised the Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adeniyi, for leading strategic institutional reforms that are contributing to national economic growth.

The coalition noted that the repositioning of the Customs Service under Adeniyi’s leadership is driving greater efficiency, transparency, and economic impact. It affirmed that the reform-focused agenda, championed by President Tinubu, is already delivering tangible results in revenue mobilisation and trade facilitation.
