Construction activities on the Kano–Hadejia Road project are progressing steadily, reaffirming the Federal Government’s commitment to infrastructure development under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

The project, located in Kano State in Northern Nigeria, is a strategic federal road designed to enhance regional connectivity, improve road safety, and stimulate economic growth across the North-West region.

Officials say the ongoing construction is expected to ease transportation, facilitate trade, and improve the socio-economic wellbeing of communities along the corridor upon completion. The Honourable Minister of Works, Engr. Dr. David Umahi, is overseeing the project to ensure quality execution and timely delivery.

The Tinubu administration has continued to prioritise sustainable and people-focused infrastructure nationwide, with the Kano–Hadejia Road standing as a key example of this commitment. When completed, the road is expected to significantly boost economic activities and improve the quality of life for residents in the region.

The Federal Ministry of Works has reaffirmed its determination to deliver critical infrastructure projects that support national development and drive economic growth across the country.
