In a bold move to equip Nigerian youth with globally competitive 21st-century digital skills, the Federal Ministry of Education has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to deliver free training and certification in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and other critical tech fields.

This transformative initiative, a flagship under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, has already commenced in 43 federal universities and polytechnics and is now expanding to include state and private tertiary institutions nationwide.

Fully funded by AWS and the Federal Ministry of Education, the programme ensures that both students and educators receive training and certification at no cost. Participating institutions have until July 19, 2025, to nominate their coordinators through an official registration form.

This collaboration reaffirms the Tinubu administration’s commitment to building a future-ready workforce and positioning Nigeria as a leader in Africa’s digital economy.
