President Tinubu’s Security Reforms Deliver Results: Nigerian Army Rescues Kidnap Victims, Neutralizes Terrorists, and Arrests Criminals

In a significant demonstration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to national security, the Nigerian Army has successfully rescued 30 kidnapped victims, neutralized 15 terrorists, and arrested 42 suspects in ongoing operations across the country.

In Benue State, 27 passengers abducted in Amoda, Ohimini Local Government Area, were freed through a daring operation by troops of Operation Whirl Stroke. Six other hostages were rescued in separate missions in Borno and Sokoto states, highlighting the Army’s strategic efforts to dismantle kidnapping syndicates and protect citizens.

The operations also targeted other criminal activities. In Kaduna State, joint operations with police forces led to the arrest of 15 individuals involved in illicit drug activities, while in the South South region, 27 suspects were apprehended for roles in oil theft, with illegal bunkering sites destroyed in Imo, Rivers, and Delta states.

President Tinubu’s administration continues to prioritize the safety and well-being of Nigerians. These successes reflect the effectiveness of his security reforms and the dedication of the Nigerian Army in maintaining peace and order nationwide.
