Singer Reekado Banks has confessed that leaving Mavin Records and its founder, Don Jazzy, was a premature decision he only came to fully realize after his departure.
The artist, who exited the label in 2018 to pursue an independent career, revealed that hindsight has given him a clearer perspective on the opportunities and mentorship he had under Don Jazzy’s guidance.
Reekado Banks acknowledged that while the move helped him grow on his own terms, the timing of his exit might not have been the best for his career trajectory.
