Sanwo-Olu Presents ₦4.237trn 2026 Budget to Lagos Assembly

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has presented a ₦4.237 trillion budget proposal for 2026 to the Lagos State House of Assembly, the largest in the state’s history.

He said the spending plan prioritizes major infrastructure projects, including roads, transport expansion, housing and flood control, alongside investments in healthcare, education, technology and security.

Sanwo-Olu noted that the budget aims to drive economic growth, create jobs and boost internally generated revenue. Funding is expected from IGR, federal allocations, loans and public-private partnerships.
