Senator Adams Oshiomhole has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, affirming that the president is doing his best to tackle Nigeria’s longstanding security challenges. Speaking on the need for collective action, Oshiomhole emphasized that any attempt to distract from national issues undermines efforts to find lasting solutions.

Highlighting the president’s proactive measures, Oshiomhole noted that under Tinubu’s leadership, the National Assembly approved special supplementary budgets to support the armed forces. “These requests were not meant for the armed forces to buy ice cream,” he stated, “they are intended to strengthen our forces, provide modern equipment, enhance training, and recruit more personnel.”

He urged Nigerians to focus on constructive contributions, rather than confusion or internal divisions, to ensure the country’s security architecture is reinforced. Oshiomhole stressed that coordinated efforts and innovative suggestions are critical in supporting the executive’s initiatives and addressing a problem that has persisted for over two decades.
