The delivery of these materials marks a crucial step in the preparations for the election, as sensitive materials typically include items like ballot papers and result sheets that require strict handling and security. Their early arrival is aimed at ensuring smooth logistics, reducing delays, and reinforcing the security measures for the voting process.

As the election date draws closer, INEC has reiterated its commitment to a fair and transparent election, urging all stakeholders, including political parties, security agencies, and the electorate, to cooperate in maintaining peace throughout the process.

The Ondo governorship election is expected to be highly competitive, with candidates from major political parties vying for the governorship seat in the state.
