Snoop Dogg has teamed up with GLAAD to release an inclusive children’s single titled “Love Is Love,” celebrating diversity and acceptance in modern families. The release follows recent backlash the rapper faced after questioning a same-sex scene in Disney and Pixar’s Lightyear, which he said sparked curiosity from his grandson.
Addressing the issue on Thursday, Oct. 16, Snoop shared his evolved perspective, praising same-sex parents for their love and dedication. “I think these kids are being loved by these great parents who are showing them an example of what family is,” he said while announcing the new song.
The track aims to promote empathy and understanding among young audiences, marking a meaningful collaboration between hip-hop culture and LGBTQ+ advocacy.
