Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo has stated that his recent electoral victory demonstrates progress in Nigeria’s electoral process. Speaking on his win, Soludo highlighted the peaceful conduct of the elections, high voter turnout, and his wide margin of victory as clear signs that elections in the country are getting better.

Soludo also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for fostering a level playing field and praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the timely posting of results via its IReV system, which saw over 99 percent of polling unit results uploaded in real time.

In addition, the governor extended a hand of fellowship to his opponents, emphasizing that politics in Anambra should focus on ideas and governance rather than rivalry. He reiterated his commitment to work with all stakeholders to drive the state’s development forward.
