Dr. Doris Uzoka Anite, Minister of State for Finance, has described her recent meeting with State Commissioners of Finance as productive, commending their commitment to national development at the state level.

In a statement, the minister appreciated the dedication of the commissioners to strengthening fiscal governance and supporting nation-building efforts across their respective states. She also expressed optimism about sustained collaboration between the federal and state governments to advance economic and financial reforms.

Those present at the meeting included Chuck O.N. Chukwuemeka of Imo State, Hon. Augustina Wandhamihya HCF of Adamawa State, Muhammad Bella Auta of Zamfara State, Muhammad Gambo Magaji of Gombe State, and Asiwaju Asiru Idris of Kogi State.

The minister noted that continued engagement with state finance leaders remains critical to driving inclusive growth and ensuring effective implementation of national economic policies.
