Nigeria secured a hard-fought 3–2 victory over Tunisia in an action-packed encounter played on December 27, 2025, producing a thrilling contest that went down to the final minutes.

The Super Eagles took the lead just before halftime when Victor Osimhen struck in the 44th minute after being set up by Ademola Lookman. Moments later, Osimhen doubled Nigeria’s advantage, giving the hosts a 2–0 cushion heading into the break.

Tunisia responded after the restart, but Nigeria maintained control as Wilfred Ndidi added a third goal in the 50th minute following another assist from Lookman. The Tunisians pulled one back in the 61st minute through Seifeddine Tounekti, assisted by Mohamed Ben Romdhane, before Mohammed Talbi reduced the deficit further in the 74th minute after a pass from Hannibal Mejbri.
