A horrifying discovery was made on Monday, September 8, 2025, when employees at a Hollywood tow yard reported a foul odor coming from a 2023 Tesla. Upon inspection, LAPD officers found human remains inside the vehicle’s front trunk, known as the “frunk.” The car, bearing Texas plates, had been towed from the Hollywood Hills roughly five days prior to the grim find.

The Tesla is registered to David Anthony Burke, the rising singer known as D4vd. Authorities have not yet identified the victim, and due to the advanced decomposition, circumstances around the death remain unclear. The LAPD has opened a formal death investigation as they continue gathering details.

Meanwhile, D4vd is currently on his “Withered” world tour and was set to perform in Minneapolis at the time of discovery. Neither the artist nor his team has issued any public statements regarding the incident. The situation remains under close police scrutiny as more information unfolds.
