President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to Muslims in Nigeria and across the world on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, urging them to renew their commitment to national unity and humanity.
In his message marking the end of Ramadan, the President called on the Muslim faithful to uphold the noble virtues imbibed during the fasting period, including piety, empathy, and unity. He emphasised the need for Nigerians to continue practicing these values beyond the holy month.
President Tinubu noted that the lessons of Ramadan—such as selflessness, perseverance, kindness, and compassion—remain essential, particularly at a time when the nation requires collective responsibility and renewed dedication to its growth and stability.
He further encouraged Muslims to extend acts of kindness to the less privileged, regardless of religious or ethnic differences, as a demonstration of unity and shared humanity.
The President also urged religious leaders to use the festive period to offer prayers for peace, unity, and prosperity in the country.
