The Federal Government has launched a digital portal for the 2025 edition of the National Youth Conference (NYC), signaling a major step toward inclusive youth participation in policy-making under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Announced by the Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, the portal is designed to streamline registration, engagement, and real-time interaction for Nigerian youths across all 360 federal constituencies, six geopolitical zones, and the diaspora.
Themed “Next Gen Nigeria: Crafting Solutions, Owning the Future,” the conference is expected to be fully youth-led, non-partisan, and solution-oriented. It aims to provide a national platform for young Nigerians to actively shape the country’s policy direction and contribute meaningfully to governance.
President Tinubu had first announced the 30-day Youth Confab during his October 1, 2024 Independence Day address, and subsequently inaugurated a 44-member planning committee in March 2025 to coordinate the program.
With the launch of this digital portal, the administration is reinforcing its commitment to youth development, civic inclusion, and a generational shift in governance.
