President Bola Tinubu has strongly condemned the tragic circumstances surrounding the death of His Royal Highness Alhaji Isa Bawa, the District Head of Gatawa in Sabon Birni Local Government Area of Sokoto State.

In a statement issued by his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu described the brutal attack on the traditional ruler as deeply unsettling and a grave injustice that demands a decisive response.

The President extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the Gobir Emirate, and the Sokoto State government. He also prayed for the repose of the traditional ruler’s soul and for comfort for his family during this challenging time.

Tinubu assured Nigerians that his administration is committed to eradicating threats to national security and will take strong action to counter such acts of terrorism.
