President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has rescheduled his planned visit to Iperu, Ogun State, initially slated for the flag-off of operations at the Gateway International Cargo Airport.
In a change of plans, the President will first travel to Jos, Plateau State, to commiserate with the government and people over recent gun attacks that resulted in the loss of lives.
He will subsequently proceed to Lagos to observe Good Friday.
On Saturday, April 4, President Tinubu is expected to be in Ogun State for the commissioning of the Gateway International Cargo Airport, alongside the inauguration of two commercial aircraft to enhance export and import activities. He will also commission the Federal Operations Unit of the Nigerian Customs Service and its operational vehicles.
The President will return to Lagos to continue the Easter celebrations, during which he is scheduled to inaugurate major infrastructure projects executed by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. These include the Ojota/Opebi Link Bridge, the Lagos State Geographic Information System Building, a Multi-Agency Complex, and a school complex.
President Tinubu will round off the tour with a visit to Bayelsa State on April 10, where he will commission projects completed by Governor Duoye Diri before returning to Abuja.
