The Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his steadfast commitment to promoting women empowerment and gender inclusion under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the APC Spokesman, Mr. Seye Oladejo, said President Tinubu has consistently demonstrated his belief that leadership should be based on competence and capacity rather than gender. He noted that this principle is evident in the number of women appointed to strategic positions at both federal and state levels.

Oladejo highlighted that under the Tinubu Kashim administration, women are occupying key roles in governance, business, and policymaking, from ministers and special advisers to heads of agencies and parastatals, a development that reflects the president’s enduring commitment to inclusive governance.

He added that the administration’s policies and initiatives have continued to open opportunities for women entrepreneurs, professionals, and grassroots leaders, fostering economic participation and national development.

Oladejo urged Nigerian women to continue supporting the Tinubu administration, assuring them that the president remains resolute in advancing equality, empowerment, and capacity building as part of his vision for a stronger and more prosperous nation.
