Hajj and Umrah tour operators, under the Association for Hajj and Umrah Operators of Nigeria (AHUON), have instructed members to suspend all activities related to Hajj 2025 preparations indefinitely.

This directive was announced in a statement signed by the association’s national president, Alhaji Abdullateef Yusuf Ekundayo, and shared with media outlets in Abuja yesterday.

The AHUON president also ordered members to halt any payments for the Hajj 2025 form, advising that those who have already made payments should refrain from submitting them until further notice.

The association’s decision comes in response to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria’s (NAHCON) refusal to refund accumulated caution deposits and other payments, despite multiple requests for reimbursement from its members.
