Liverpool are reportedly interested in Real Madrid’s rising star, Rodrygo, and are preparing a substantial bid to secure the Brazilian forward’s signature.

The 23-year-old, considered one of Real Madrid’s brightest talents, could be facing his final months at the Santiago Bernabéu if a tempting offer from the Premier League materializes.

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Liverpool is among the top contenders for Rodrygo and is ready to present a bid in the vicinity of €100 million. While Real Madrid currently has no plans to let him go, they don’t view him as untouchable, and lucrative offers from England may prove hard to resist.

Fichajes also reports that Liverpool sees Rodrygo as a prime candidate to replace Mohamed Salah, who may be nearing the end of his time at Anfield.

The outlet states, “Liverpool particularly views Rodrygo as an ideal replacement for Salah, who could be entering the final stages of his tenure at the club. The Brazilian’s knack for influencing games and his impressive scoring record make him a valuable addition for the Reds. At just 23, Rodrygo has already amassed 57 goals and 43 assists in 225 appearances, showcasing remarkable maturity in top competitions like La Liga and the Champions League.”

While Real Madrid appreciates Rodrygo’s talent and potential, they are open to significant offers if the terms are right. “The club’s management recognizes that the Premier League offers lucrative contracts and enticing opportunities for young players, and Rodrygo might be tempted to explore a new challenge, especially if Liverpool presents an attractive sporting project,” Fichajes adds.

The summer of 2025 could be a crucial turning point in Rodrygo’s career, with Liverpool poised to make a serious move for the talented forward.
