Trump Accuses Biden Administration of Hiding Information on Mysterious Drones Over New Jersey and New York

In a press conference on Monday, President-elect Donald Trump accused President Joe Biden and the Pentagon of withholding information about mysterious drones spotted hovering over New Jersey and New York. Trump, 78, voiced concerns over the unexplained sightings, which have sparked fear and speculation among residents in both states. Thousands of people, some with photographic evidence, have reported seeing the unidentified aircraft.

“The government knows what is happening,” Trump said, criticizing Biden’s representatives who claimed ignorance about the drones. “Our military knows where they took off from — if it’s a garage, they can go right into that garage. They know where it came from and where it went, and for some reason, they don’t want to comment.”

The former president called for greater transparency, stating, “I think they’d be better off saying what it is. Our military knows and our president knows. And for some reason, they want to keep people in suspense.”

However, when asked if he had personally received an intelligence briefing on the drones, Trump declined to comment, adding, “I can’t imagine it’s the enemy… Because if it was the enemy, they’d blast it out — even if they were late, they’d blast it.”

Trump further speculated, “Something strange is going on. For some reason, they don’t want to tell the people, and they should.” In a lighthearted moment, he joked about canceling his weekend plans to visit his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, noting that the drones were “very close” to the location.

White House spokesman John Kirby had previously stated that federal, state, and local law enforcement authorities had not been able to verify the reported sightings. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) expressed frustration over the lack of answers, calling for transparency and stating, “New Yorkers have tremendous questions about [the drones]. We are going to get the answers.”

As of now, neither the White House nor the Pentagon have responded to requests for further comment on the ongoing mystery.
