President Donald Trump has sent out a campaign fundraising email portraying himself as working alone under difficult conditions while urgently calling on supporters for financial backing.

The email, sent to supporters on Tuesday, January 13, carried the subject line “I’m alone and in the dark” and described Trump as sitting by himself in what he referred to as a war room, relying on a failing laptop. In the message, the 79-year-old former president warned that missing his fundraising target could have serious consequences for his political movement.

Trump used the appeal to issue stark warnings about what he described as threats posed by the “radical left,” claiming they would permanently open U.S. borders, seize firearms and indoctrinate children if allowed to gain power.

In the email, Trump stressed the urgency of donations, telling supporters that failure to meet the fundraising goal would severely weaken the MAGA movement. The message forms part of his broader effort to energise his political base and raise campaign funds ahead of upcoming political battles.
