Vice President Kashim Shettima, representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has departed for Luanda, Angola, to attend the AU-EU Summit. His departure follows successful engagements at the 20th G20 Leaders’ Summit in South Africa.

The Vice President will join Heads of State and Government from the African Union (AU) and the European Union (EU) for the 7th AU-EU Summit, where leaders are expected to discuss shared challenges and explore collaborative solutions across key sectors such as climate change, infrastructure, digital economy, creative industries, manufacturing, and agribusiness.

Vice President Shettima is scheduled to return to Nigeria upon the conclusion of the summit.
