Vice President Kashim Shettima has assured Nigerians that better days are ahead under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing the current challenges as temporary.

In his Easter message, VP Shettima emphasized the administration’s commitment to peace, economic recovery, and long-term prosperity, noting that national renewal often requires collective sacrifice and resolve.

Reflecting on the significance of Easter, he said the Christian message of hope, sacrifice, and resurrection reminds the nation that no hardship lasts forever. “Easter is a reminder that history often bends in favour of those who refuse to surrender to despair. It is the story of light piercing through darkness, of hope rising from the shadows of pain, and of faith prevailing over fear,” he said.

VP Shettima observed that while Nigeria has faced difficult times, the country has never been defined by adversity. He called on citizens to remain united, support ongoing reforms, and embrace values that bind the nation together, highlighting that Nigeria’s diversity remains one of its greatest strengths.

“I remain confident that by our collective will, shared sacrifice, and abiding faith in the promise of this nation, we shall triumph over whatever challenges beset us momentarily,” he added.
