Vice President Kashim Shettima has reaffirmed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to transforming the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) into a digitally driven, financially stable, and globally recognised centre of excellence by 2030. He made the remarks while representing the President at the Graduation Ceremony of Senior Executive Course 47 in Kuru, Plateau State.
Shettima highlighted that NIPSS serves as a strategic platform for developing thinkers, reformers, and innovators in Nigeria. He described the Senior Executive Course as an investment in the nation’s future leadership and a key forum for ideas that shape policy, guide reforms, and influence national development.
The Vice President emphasised that the administration’s support for NIPSS goes beyond funding and infrastructure, stressing that the institute’s outputs would be fully integrated into national decision-making frameworks. He praised the institute’s critical role in building leadership capacity necessary to navigate Nigeria’s complex policy and governance challenges.
