The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu can remove him from office if he believes he no longer has anything to contribute to the administration.
Wike made the statement on Sunday during the final leg of his “thank you” visit to Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Responding to criticisms and calls for his removal, the former Rivers State governor said such decisions rest with the President, not with political critics or commentators.
He maintained that his continued stay in the Federal Executive Council depends on his performance and the confidence of the President.
Wike’s remarks come amid ongoing political debates and criticism over his role in the Tinubu administration.
