Share

The Federal Government has approved a fee hike for Nigerian passports effective September 1, 2024, to improve quality and integrity. The cost for a 32-page passport booklet with 5-year validity will rise from ₦35,000 to ₦50,000, while a 64-page passport with 10-year validity will increase from ₦70,000 to ₦100,000. Fees for passports issued abroad will remain unchanged.

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) acknowledges the potential inconvenience and reassures applicants of its commitment to transparency and high-quality service delivery.
