PRESIDENT TINUBU HOSTS AKWA IBOM GOVERNOR UMO ENO AND SENATE PRESIDENT AKPABIO TO STRENGTHEN FEDERAL-STATE PARTNERSHIP

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday hosted Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, and Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, at the State House in Abuja for a strategic meeting focused on enhancing collaboration between the federal government and Akwa Ibom State.

During the closed-door engagement, discussions centred on infrastructure development, investment promotion, and security cooperation. Governor Umo Eno, who also serves as the APC leader in Akwa Ibom, reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to working closely with President Tinubu to align with the Renewed Hope agenda and deliver impactful governance to the people of the state.

Senate President Akpabio, a key South-South leader and former Akwa Ibom governor, commended President Tinubu’s inclusive leadership and developmental focus. The meeting underscored the growing synergy between Abuja and Uyo, signaling a united front for advancing progress in the South-South region.
