Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has expressed confidence that the developmental projects being executed by his administration will generate massive support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The governor stated this during an inspection tour of ongoing projects in Edo North, including the construction of a modern market in Jattu, located in Esan West Local Government Area.

According to Okpebholo, the projects being undertaken by his administration are people-oriented and designed to improve economic activities, enhance commerce, and raise the standard of living of residents across the state.

He described the Jattu market project as a major commercial hub that would benefit traders, businesses, and residents, noting that the facility is being built to modern standards with infrastructure capable of supporting increased economic activity.

The governor said the level of support his administration receives in future elections would be determined by the impact of its developmental initiatives, expressing optimism that the benefits of the projects would translate into strong electoral support for President Tinubu.

Okpebholo maintained that Edo residents are already witnessing the effects of the administration’s investments in infrastructure and development and would continue to support efforts aimed at improving their welfare.

The inspection tour was attended by Minister of Regional Development, Abubakar Momoh; former Edo State Governor and Senator representing Edo North, Adams Aliu Oshiomhole; Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Blessing Agbebaku, and other government officials.

Governor Okpebholo reiterated his administration’s commitment to executing projects that will drive economic growth, improve infrastructure, and enhance the quality of life of Edo residents.
