
President Bola Tinubu has expressed profound sadness over the death of Chief Michael Adeniyi Koleosho, OFR, former national chairman of the Alliance for Democracy (AD). Chief Koleosho, who also served as secretary to the Government of Oyo State, was a notable politician and businessman, and held the title of Babalaje of Sakiland.
In his statement, President Tinubu reflected on Chief Koleosho’s significant contributions to enhancing the political landscape and strengthening democratic processes in Nigeria. He extended heartfelt condolences to the family of the late elder statesman and the people of Oyo State.
The President prayed for the repose of Chief Koleosho’s soul and comfort for his grieving family.
