
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed sadness over the passing of Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu Mustapha, the Sardauna Adamawa and former Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service, who died on Thursday in Abuja at the age of 76.
In a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu described the late Mustapha as a distinguished public servant who made significant contributions to the growth and development of the Nigeria Customs Service and rendered immense service to his home state of Adamawa.
The President extended his condolences to the Adamawa Emirate Council, the state government, and the people of Adamawa, saying the late traditional leader will be deeply missed.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant Alhaji Mustapha eternal peace and Firdaus for his soul.
