
Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has arrived in Doha, Qatar, for a four-day working visit at the invitation of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of the Qatar Foundation.
The visit focuses on tackling the challenge of out-of-school children and reforming the Almajiri education system in Nigeria through strategic international collaboration.
During her stay, the First Lady will meet with key Qatari officials, including the Minister of Social Development, Buthaina Al Nuaimi, to discuss joint education initiatives.
She is accompanied by the Minister of State for Education, Professor Suwaiba Ahmed, and the Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education, Dr Mohammed Sani.
