The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Hon. Oyetunde Ojo, has conveyed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s message of inclusion and development to traditional rulers in Ekiti State, assuring them that the state will not be left behind in the implementation of the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
During his engagement with the monarchs, Hon. Ojo reaffirmed the commitment of the Tinubu administration to ensure that every state of the federation benefits from the Renewed Hope Housing Programme. He noted that the initiative is designed to bridge Nigeria’s housing deficit while promoting equitable access to affordable housing across all regions.
The FHA boss emphasized that Ekiti, known for its rich cultural heritage and intellectual strength, remains a key partner in the Renewed Hope drive. He commended the support of the traditional institution and urged royal fathers to continue to play their vital role in promoting peace, unity, and community participation in national development.
Hon. Ojo explained that under the current leadership of President Tinubu, the FHA is undergoing a comprehensive transformation aimed at improving transparency, efficiency, and service delivery. He said that the agency is working with state governments to secure land, streamline designs, and adopt local building materials to enhance affordability and sustainability.
He further assured that the Renewed Hope Housing Scheme will prioritize job creation, youth engagement, and value addition to the local economy. According to him, “Ekiti will not be left behind. President Tinubu is determined to make sure every Nigerian, regardless of background or location, feels the impact of the Renewed Hope Agenda.”
Hon. Ojo, who was appointed by President Tinubu in 2024, has been touring several states to strengthen collaboration and ensure that the FHA’s new housing strategy aligns with the administration’s broader economic and social objectives.
