
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has felicitated with the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, on his 76th birthday, celebrated on December 25.
In his message, President Tinubu described Dr. Ganduje as an astute politician and accomplished administrator who has served the nation in various capacities over the past five decades.
Dr. Ganduje’s distinguished career includes senior administrative roles in the Federal Capital Territory, service as Commissioner for Works in Kano State under the military regime, two terms as Deputy Governor, and subsequently two terms as Governor of Kano State. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
President Tinubu expressed gratitude for Dr. Ganduje’s longstanding friendship and collaboration within the APC, saying, “I will forever appreciate Ganduje’s friendship and close collaboration at different times and his services to the APC.”
He further prayed for Dr. Ganduje’s continued good health, adding, “As he marks another year, I pray Almighty Allah to enrich him with good health to prolong his services to Nigeria and humanity.”
