Oluremi @65 Education Fund Closes with Over N25 Billion Raised for National Library Project

Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has expressed her heartfelt appreciation to all Nigerians, family, friends, and well-wishers who generously supported the Oluremi @65 Education Fund, established in celebration of her 65th birthday on 21 September 2025, towards the development of the National Library.

Senator Tinubu said the overwhelming support reflects a shared commitment to education, the preservation of knowledge, and national development, and she is deeply encouraged by the goodwill and unity this initiative has inspired.

She also announced that the donation account for the Oluremi @65 Education Fund will be closed today, Wednesday, 31 December 2025, noting that the project will now be under the supervision of the Honorable Minister of Education. Any further support may be channelled through the Ministry.

As of 31 December 2025, a total of N25,520,708,074.35 (Twenty-Five Billion, Five Hundred and Twenty Million, Seven Hundred and Eight Thousand, Seventy-Four Naira, Thirty-Five Kobo) has been donated to the fund.

Senator Tinubu thanked all contributors to this worthy cause and wished Nigerians and their families a peaceful and prosperous 2026.
