World heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Joshua, has been discharged from Duchess International Hospital in Ikeja, Lagos.

The development was confirmed by Gbenga Omotoso, Lagos State Commissioner for Information, and Kayode Akinmade, Special Adviser to the Ogun State Governor on Information and Strategy.

Further details regarding Joshua’s condition were not immediately disclosed, but officials confirmed that the boxer had been cleared to leave the medical facility following treatment.
